DISCguise encryption footprint utility to encrypt files
and folders.
ViPNet DISCguise is a small
footprint utility, which allows data stored on a machine's
hard disk to be kept completely secure. The program is
simple to install and occupies less than 2Mb of disk space,
A Windows Explorer style interface is used to select either
individual files or a directory structure to encrypt.
Files and folders are encrypted with a strong encryption
algorithm, using a combination of a unique user key and
the password entered at time of encryption. The overall
encryption strength is a function of the password selected
by the user at time of encryption. |

Login
Login is fast and easy. Simply choose the password to
be used in protecting the files you are encrypting, enter
twice for verification, and move on to the file selection
interface and reception.
Select files
using familiar Windows Explorer style navigation select
the files/folders you want to encrypt/decrypt. Choose
the “Firelist” to encrypt multiple files/folders simultaneously
under the same password.
Encrypt
Choose the Audit Trail to view encryption activity then
select the "Encrypt" button on the main DISCguise
interface to encrypt selected files.
System requirements:
Processor - no less than Pentium II
RAM - no less than 64 MB
Free space on a hard disk - no less than 10 MB
Operating system - Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista
